In this talk I will present the Innovations in Search with OpenSearch, a completely open-source search engine. The OpenSearch project comes under Linux Foundation.
I will dive into differentiating capabilities like scalable Neural Sparse ANN Search using the SEISMIC algorithm, and the new Search Relevance Workbench for metric-driven relevance evaluation. Discover how system-generated Search Pipelines eliminate configuration overhead, automatically building Vector Search pipelines at query runtime and UI editor for AI Search workflow set up.
The talk will include a demo on
1/ Agentic Search with OpenSearch using locally hosted LLM models
2/ Search Relevance Workbench to improve Search Relevance and lastly
3/ a preview of the upcoming Agentic Search Relevance Tuning that makes tuning Relevance easier
